Structure:

1. Quality Assurance Unit Responsibilities::

1-Focus on local, Arab, and international rankings, fulfilling their requirements to enhance the university's academic reputation and achieve accreditation.

2-Prepare discussion topics for Quality Assurance Council meetings, draft minutes, disseminate them to all colleges, and follow up on the implementation of decisions.

3-Monitor and execute quality plans to establish an internal quality system that improves educational processes, transitioning to electronic documentation alongside traditional methods.

4-Promote a culture of quality and academic accreditation among faculty, students, and staff, emphasizing the importance of quality assurance mechanisms.

5-Form committees for regular monitoring and adherence to quality assurance standards.

6-Oversee the educational process at the university, including students, infrastructure, curricula, research, and community service.

7-Prepare periodic reports on the activities of quality assurance units in various colleges and submit them to the department.

8-Provide guidance and support to colleges not meeting required quality standards.

9-Compile periodic activity reports for the unit and submit them to the university's quality assurance department.

10-Establish an electronic database for all university colleges, departments, and centers.


Tasks of the Institutional Performance Evaluation Unit:

1-Distribute evaluation files from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, ensuring accurate data collection and communication with relevant staff as needed.

2-Submit performance evaluation reports to the Ministry after obtaining the university president's approval, ensuring compliance with evaluation guidelines.

3-Promote the importance of university performance in higher education through seminars and conferences, collaborating with department units to meet performance standards.

4-Conduct quantitative and qualitative studies on evaluation reports to identify obstacles in the electronic evaluation process and develop appropriate solutions.

5-Organize workshops focused on the performance evaluation system, detailing its requirements and operational procedures.


Tasks of the Accreditation Unit:1. Institutional and Programmatic Accreditation:

1- Encourage all university colleges, departments, and centers to focus on academic accreditation requirements, ensuring data is collected and archived both electronically and in paper form.

2- Provide assistance, advice, and workshops to promote a culture of academic accreditation among faculty and departments.

Monitor the progress of colleges in completing programmatic accreditation requirements, including self-reports and improvement plans.


Laboratory Accreditation:

- Oversee and verify laboratory specifications against established standards.

- Define technical specifications for equipment and ensure proper documentation in coordination with laboratory officials.

- Track calibration programs for equipment in collaboration with relevant authorities.

- Organize training courses for laboratory staff according to international standards.

- Coordinate with the Ministry of Higher Education’s Laboratory Accreditation Department to enhance laboratory performance.

- Appoint quality managers for each laboratory based on specialization.

- Implement necessary actions as determined by the laboratory accreditation team.

- Collaborate with local entities to establish specialized training programs for quality auditors and inspectors.

- Conduct effective internal audits of random laboratory samples to assess testing efficiency periodically.
