The Department is a belief in the universal quality system in the educational institution and the development of the quality performance of all workers through upgrading skills and developing the abilities of quality assurance, and achieving one of the most important requirements for academic accreditation. as well as the main goal is to build a robust management system as a platform to ensure the success of the quality assurance programme for the educational institution's activities and academic certification programmes in accordance with strategic plans According to strategic plans and accurate and comprehensive standards for measuring and evaluating performance for all educational events and activities.
The University of Babylon is the first Iraqi university to adopt quality assurance and accreditation standards since 2007, Where the College of Medicine has implemented the requirements of the Iraqi Medical Colleges Accreditation Committee, which is recognized by the WFME organization. In accordance with the areas of expertise of the faculties, it has also embraced the national standards of the University of Babylon, the Association of Arab Universities, ABET, and the College of Education for Human Sciences NCATE.
The Department and Electronic Committees document scientific research electronically and build a user-friendly database to provide teaching staff and researchers in prestigious scientific journals and actively participate in global scientific research engines in journals (Scopus & Thomson Reuter) through their physical and moral motivation to raise the reputation of our university and country, both Arab and global. The Quality Assurance Section has helped spread a culture of quality and raise employee knowledge through training courses, workshops, symposiums, conversations, and staffing of government institutions, interested organizations, community service, civil organizations, and private sector institutions.
The Department aim is to gain quality assurance and academic certification (institutional accreditation, specialized programming accreditation, and accreditation of educational and medical laboratories). Through its specialized and efficient scientific partnerships, the department strives to strengthen faith in the concepts and principles of the universal quality system of the educational institution and to develop the quality performance of all workers by upgrading the skills and abilities of quality assurance and achieving academic certification programme to upgrade the educational product's scientific excellence and quality of education.
